Each day thousands of animals go neglected or homeless. Though all of our events, our goal is to raise national awareness about the issues surrounding animals and how they end up neglected or homeless. Through the support of athletes, celebrities and on air radio and television personalities, we are creating awareness on a daily basis that all animals deserve to have a home.

Our mascot Lady Lavache was once a 42-pound Pit Bull/Staffordshire mix that was tied to a 2-foot chain in a backyard of a house in South Carolina. Her living quarters consisted of an old sofa and cardboard box. Had it not been for a local passerby that contacted the local humane society, who removed the dog and recommended charges brought against the owner, Lady may not have lived to help other animals. Today her blue eyes bring smiles to many people and each time her tail wags, all of us remember why we plan these events to eventually BLACKOUT Animal Neglect and Homelessness.
